Last Friday I went on a date with a girl from Gurgaon and it was the biggest mistake of my life. I was apprehended by her brother's friend at Ambience Mall. How? We were having a milkshake from Keventer's where some guy randomly pops out and starts enquiring about what we were doing.
The thing escalated and he said he will call police. I got scared. Then he motioned for someone, and that guy started misbehaving with us as well. It was becoming very stressful and I asked , "Tum chahte kya ho?" He was like, "Mhaare doston ko bhi thoda Milkshake Wilkshake pilao bhai." (Get milkshakes from KLeventers for our friends too). I was like, "Huh?" He demanded cash and said that he will get it himself. I gave them all cash I was carrying, some 2500 rupees and ran away. I think the girl was in on it too.
What should I have done?
I don't think you could have done anything different.
But consider this as a narrow escape and from the next time please be extra careful when going on a date.

Yes that's a good place in general but unfortunately there's always a Tom and Jerry type chase between scamsters and victims.
Day by day they are getting advanced so anyone would have to proceed more carefully.
In his case next time, he can probably have his friends nearby or he can focus more on some potentially suspicious things about his date partner profile and behaviour which he might have ignored this time by giving a benefit of doubt.

I would say- refuse to give them what they ask. You have done nothing wrong. Even if police comes, what can they do? You are in middle of a crowded place, they can’t harm you.
