Pet project in medical equipment sales

Hi guys, I will describe my situation— Introduction— 1. I work at an MNC that pays me monthly 74k. 2. I have 2 yoe in fontend development and I like my work excpet the only thing that makes me not like my work is the constant reminder of deadlines. 3. I therefore feel like doing a side hustle like a business and after some point leave my job. Idea— 1. Start a vending machine business in India. 2. While there are few companies which have started this business in India in the past 2 years. I see a growing market in the future here. Finance- 1. I have around 1.54L in mutual funds and around 60-70k in my bank account. 2. A vending machine costs around 2L and operating it will cost around another 15-20k in products. I need a suggestion on a plan on how I can start the business with the amount of money I have. my goal- I come from a very lower middle class family, I want to be the greatest man my bloodline has seen . I worked realy hard to get the job, but I don’t feel like I should be here.

Considering Edtech, Fintech, E-commerce is done

I know this will sound like a very biased opinion but just sharing my 2 cents of today’s market. The way with highest probability of success, money and ensuring a better future for your future generations is to startup. It has the highest risk, highest reward. But in today’s landscape: where inflation is always higher than your hike, there’s no guarantee of employment even in next 1 years, the effort to remain in top 1% is humongous and many other reasons like that, really make me feel that if you’re able to start a company and even capture 0.1% of market who’s willing to pay something for your service/product, that’s all you need. Of course the struggle doesn’t end there and you have to keep working for as long as possible? But your capacity to earn and provide for generations to come is much higher than working for someone else. All disagreement is welcome :) Just tired of running this race for years now and still never feeling financially secure.

What business we can start as a side hustle with 50 lakhs capital sad that it can generate a decent passive income in 5 years and later we can stretch it as a full time business.

Offline businesses or hybrid businesses that can be profitable. Steel/cement/building material dealership (Tata, Astral etc), kitchen equipments, mutual fund and insurance distribution or franchise of a big brand. Also mention approx capital required and monthly earning potential. Idea can be from what you explored or your family’s business too.. Please stick to this format: Business idea - Astral pipes dealership Geography - City or town of operation only Competitive intensity - High Capital required - 1 crore Earning potential - 2-3% per month (2-3 lakhs) Points - You will be dealing with the main distributor and not astral directly, you will have to network well with plumbers, architects, small builders etc.

Be more brief, if its part time, full time, how are you managing time, do you earn from it, hobby or responsibility, etc

Me and my wife are 30 years old software engineer with no kids. Draw 7 lac a month please some yearly bonus. We invest 2 lac a month combined into equity market through mutual funds. Expenses: 1.5 lac a month including everything, lives in Bangalore in good society, owns a car, don't thing much before spending. Still after everything left with 3 lakhs every month in bank account. Not sure how to use that. We both don't have any fancy "shauk" where we can spend and hence don't have an urge to earn more. Any suggestions???

I have a valid idea

I am ready to put more than 70 hours to start and run my own business. Looking for some ideas with certain criteria I have in my mind 1. Scalability - Biz should be scalable enough to reach 100 cr annual turnover, fine if takes mid to long term 2. Margin - should have healthy margin, not looking for VC money to run it 3. Location - setup and operation can be done from anywhere 4. Non-tech - I am not a tech person, so the Biz should be done without hightech IT infra as I want to run the show on my own. Sourcing ideas for myself, because I want to start something my own And for other non-tech people, who are also in the same boat as I am. Let’s see if we get some good ideas here!
