Interview ethics
I was in an interview with a CEO of an 8 year old startup. The dude was vaping during the interview. Kept saying “whatever” to all my achievements, didn’t even see my resume before starting the interview. Stretched a 30 minutes call to 75 minutes where I only spoke for 15 maybe. I immediately withdrew my application post the call. Did anyone ever experience bad behaviour from the interviewer?
Vaping during the interview? Wow you dodged a bullet there. Quite disrespectful
During my placement year, at Bangalore Accenture office, 2 interviewer were allotted for 5 candidates, and the HR's were telugu so, 2 of us were "North Indian" for them, eventually they talked with other 3 candidates in Telugu coz they were telugu, we 2 got rejected, they ignored us throughout the interview process. So, that was my first racism experience, in our own country by a shit head HR, only one male guy was racist the other female HR kept quiet throughout the interview. Now when I see my other friends who are in Accenture, they are earning low salary as well as have low self esteem, also their technical capabilities are limited. No progress as such. From that day I keep Accenture on my spam mailbox. I have given many interviews, but i will vouch for it as the worst interview. I was 21/22 i guess back then, i had little knowledge about all this shit that might happen to me.
South Indians claim that they are bullied for their complexion but after living there for 3 years I can vouch for the fact that they are biggest bunch of casteist racist bullies on this planet... Deserve everything and more of what they face.

Because all my colleagues, freshers or experienced, earn quite a bit more than us.
Now that I think about it, us are from a few t3 colleges in north but these are all south folks.

I won’t be able to name the company for reasons best known to me. But I already mentioned it’s an 8 year old startup. The CEO is a first time founder. Company is bootstrapped and is in the influencer marketing platform field. Hope this is enough.
And if you think I’ll make a fake post to grab attention while being anonymous then ummmm idk what to say😂

because i gave a similar interview last week and oh my god the founder was such a jackass throughout the interview. smoking his strawberry milkshake ice and whatnot, couldnt catch a breath he kept on talking wtf. red flags everywhere

A simple solution to this debate is to think from the other side. How would you as an interviewer feel if the interviewee vapes while answering your questions.

Yes, not vaping interviewer but an arrogant, not interested and disrespectful one
The interviewer attitude tells a lot about the company values and ethics, and Ofcourse anyone don’t look up to joining a toxic one
I remember in a interview the interviewer was not interested and making fun and mockery on my degree, experience and all and was question weird things, I understood I got nothing to loose, I already saw and checked his profile, so I also started bashing him on his experiences and choices 😂
Please don’t take that from anyone if you want to vent out just do it anyway, I always regretted not saying anything as they are interviewer and that effected my next interviews too (last part is my personal opinion)
