My company has not paid by last 3 months salary, should I need to serve notice period

Hi guys, I joined a crap company just so that I can get some income and not freeload at home and I have been applying for other better jobs. My plan is if within 2-3 months, I get a better job then I will abscond from here and not show this company in my resume. I don't want a relieving/experience letter and I don't want the salary or PF. I just want to abscond as soon as I get the offer. Can the company do something, like legal action, if I abscond?

I resigned on 24th May from my current company. They have 2 months notice period. I asked them to reduce it to a month since I’m not in a good place mentally. My grandma (who’s like a parent to me) is really v. sick, she’s lying on her deathbed. So I want to shift back to my hometown and take care of her. I want to go asap. They didn’t hear me at all. And this job has given me so much stress, from past 4-5 days my bp got low, I had high fever. I sent them doctor’s slip. Even then this HR is saying you’ve to abide by the policy. And honestly I hate working here, since they have a tool based environment, that is not getting to my head. So now I’ve decided to not work at all. Since my health is also not that good. Is there any other way they can agree to reduce the notice period? Since I’m really tired of this. Also, I hope not working won’t do any harm.

I have recently joined in an organization which is an Inc 2 days back. But today I got offer from good MNc company which has started interview process before receiving any offer . I want join in this MNc now how can I proceed in leaving current inc which joined 2 days back. In offer letter there is a clause mentioned that if I resign in 30days of joining I have to serve 4 months notice or I have to pay to buy notice period. I confused what to do now. If say I have 10-30 days of notice period, and if I do land a opportunity, how can I join the newer company on immediate basis without serving 3 motnhs. Buyout option is by having to pay the equivalent of 3 months, which goes beyond 200k. I am not willing to pay a company this much amount, given I only earned 300k from them. Should I first apply for notice period and then start interviewing or first land an opporutnity and then apply for notice period.

Hi, I have resigned from my organisation which has a 90 days notice period clause. I have another offer which I need to join in 60 days. My current employer is not at all agreeing for early release. Can i join a new company while being on notice period with my current employer? What are the implications?

The company haven’t paid us 3-6months of salary saying that there’s a delay in raising VC funds. They also didn’t pay TDS and gave us Form 16 for ITR. I reached out to our client company where I worked briefly and they were happy to offer me a job there. I’m dangerously out of money in savings and it’s still uncertain in my current company about any funds. So I have given a early date to him because I really need their salary and joining bonus to survive actually. I thought I can immediately relieve from my current company as I don’t have finished projects and haven’t involve in new. But they are not responding to my calls and mail requesting for immediate resignation. What should I do now ?

Hey Grapeviners, Need a professional help. So yesterday my HR reached out to me saying they want me to discontinue the job immediately because they are focusing on cost cutting. While they are hiring team of interns to do the task and eliminating full time employees. I want to know what are the options available to me as they are not giving any notice to terminate the job while it has written in employment letter that any one of us has to give 30 days notice in written or if I don’t give notice then I have to pay 3 months salary. Based on the agreement can I ask severance package if they immediately discontinue? What will be the better payment to ask in this scenario? What will be the pros and cons in this situation and how to proceed further?
