Co ceos are generally kept in following circumstances- -Founder is ceo , but doesn’t want to do “boring” company management and administration, but rather vision and execution. Division becomes like one looks at Sales & Product excellence and the other is operational. - A temporary overlap in leadership to expand skills at the top - Navigating a transition like a merger or a new CEO - CEO succession and transition
