Low battery - Surge pricing

Guys is this real? If the battery charge decreases the price increases. I was trying to book flights( I was in a hurry) , and at the moment the charge was below 20, prices were jumping. But the moment I plugged it in the power Bank the price decreased. (👀 Anyone from goib3bo can answer)

I was pointing out to a friend how prices for cabs on ios are sometimes around 5-10% higher than that on an android phone. He laughed it off.

It is reported in many places which have dynamic pricing My guess is it is AI behind it , it is just given some data and battery level is one of them , where the data shows that people with low battery have into a higher price and model just gets trained on it. It it is done on purpose a 👿 mind behind it 😀 A dark pattern for sure

Surge prising and higher travel expenses in Metro cities are a problem and also monopoly of Giants like Uber who had unlimited cash flow will pay extreme amount of payouts to the vendors. There should be a regulatory authorities upon the system of travel which would not allow the pricing to go ahead to a certain extent and all other players are able to make business.

There are a few events where BMS charges approx 20% of the event fee. Is this because BMS is a virtual monopoly with Paytm insider competing a bit? Shouldn't this be a more competitive space with minimal charges to book?

Uber/Google Maps Glitch

Anyone else who's facing glitches with Uber and Google maps? Google Maps nowadays is showing longer routes for the same destination and because of this Uber charges extra. Eg: a cab ride <100 bucks is now costing 120-150 just because of the longer route taken. Is it a glitch or an implementation to charge more?
