Did you talk or meet your office folks after you were laid off? When your coworker is laid off, is it okay to talk with them? Is it okay to ask for feedback and help if you are laid off? How did you check with your coworker after a layoff?😅 Noob here. Suggestions requested.

Go ahead and talk to them as if nothing has happened, because trust me nothing has. Your not talking or behaving weird might make them feel bad, so be normal.
They are still humans, your friends/acquaintances.
Be sensitive, but do speak and try to help them as much as you can.

Don't ghost them thinking its weird.
'kaam khatam rishta khatam' nahi karte. Even if the rishta is that of a colleague.
A simple 'hey how r u doing' or 'lets have a cup of tea/smoke' will go a long way for the person who has been laid off.
It takes time for them to realise that the layoff probably happened for no fault of theirs and they still exist in the minds of those they shared their working hours with.
