How much consultant or subject expert is paid for recording a lecture or session as a part of online course?

I am a designer, and through my family I also hold A japanese residency but I live in India. Been to japan 5 times now, 3 times by myself, how much would you guys be willing to pay for a customised trip to japan according to your age, pref, budget, with extra like basic sheet with all do and don’t, basic Japanese, hidden gems, and other travel hacks? Maybe adding the extra mile by adding service of your request like list of GOOD Indian restaurants PS, a lot of people have reached out to me, so thought it would be helpful to see if I could make some money out of it? Would love to know opinions!

Just saw this ad from growth school io. Don’t know what “communicate like a mck consultant” even means. Fun fact, check the LinkedIn of the mentor. She wasn’t even a McK consultant and instead worked as research analyst. 🤦‍♂️ Why do these companies create courses like these? And who buys them??!

Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) had approached me for help with a topic related to my subject matter expertise. They will have their paying client on the other side of the call and I will have to answer their questions without revealing my identity or any trade secrets. They do pay consultation fees (billed at a negotiated rate per hour) for the same. 1. Firstly, is this a scam? 2. Secondly, they give independence to us to not answer any question (if it reveals any information that we don't want to reveal). Yet - is it a safe bet? What if my current employer comes to know about the same?
