Receiving lot of msgs these days about paid advisor roles on per hour basis. What are these and are these really scams?

I left a startup due to financial difficulties within the organization. Salaries were delayed for 3 months, however, the team and my previous employers have been very good to me throughout my time there, and it was solely due to the circumstances that I had to part ways. Now, the CEO has reached out to me, asking me to join as a part-time consultant on a case-by-case basis to help them resolve their issues, while I continue with my new job. This opportunity could provide me with additional income, but I have concerns about whether they will pay me for my consultations. Should I take the opportunity? How much should I ask for? Entertaining an opportunity from eloelo. They have a barebones webpage and its not that great. Seems like all their numbers are inflated. I would like to know how the workplace is. Looked at some reviews online and they hint at toxic work culture. Looking for a outsider opinion on the org as well as the market segment.

1st issue: It has been almost 2 years since I joined a company as a fresher. Got the increment twice but still have the same designation. Planning to switch after the completion of 2 years, will it be a hit point that I worked in a company on the same designation for 2 years?? Should I ask my manager or head to think about changing it? 2nd issue: I do financial+ market research, data analysis, and working on a product that is yet to launch (I know this product more that anyone, not a developer but did robust improvements in it, gave several solutions for it, can say that I'm unsung Product Analyst here). Based upon the above task, what should be my designation?

Hi All, I am writing this post just for sake of knowledge. Currently I am working in Oracle with 3.8 YOE as QA. During interview calls, the most difficult question i feel to answer is “What is your expected salary?” Sometimes i ask for 100% and in some cases a self doubt arises that whether this much asking is correct or not. So guys please feel free to suggest how you do research like is there any specific website where we can know the market value of the position and answer this question to your interviewer.😊

Helping a friends' friend org with strategy and ops building They have 35$ per hour budget, based out of SF USA Is it worth taking up? Am I being low balled? Background- Senior Associate, 5YOE

Recently many people approached mostly from Market research companies and budding founders for giving an hour or two to get my feedback/review for the product they are building. I honestly give them insight and share feedback that they can value a lot from. Usually I do it for free , giving my time in weekends but I realised people get paid for this as one of the company offered me Amazon vouchers for it. Should I continue doing it for free or charge them?

Hi all, I'm an MBA graduate with a degree in marketing and operations. I recently joined Cognizant as a business development analyst, and I'm really enjoying the role. However, I'm also interested in switching to a business analyst or business consultant role I'm particularly interested in cloud consulting, as I'm already certified in AWS and I'm currently pursuing a Professional AWS certification. I'm looking for some advice and suggestions on what other roles I could switch to. TIA
