I think 70% people have no budget,else they end up with fortune in longterm

I don’t have much knowledge about investing, for now i have following investments - 10 Lac in FD - 5 Lac in stock where I have bought stocks of well known large cap company without any analysis assuming that it will grow in long term Now I want to get serious about investment and want to do monthly SIP so seeking for suggestion on what I should do SIP ? For now I am thinking to do monthly SIP in Nifty 50 For now I have appetite to invest 25K per month.

Was analysing my trades over the last 3 years to understand my best and worst trades ever, then coupled that with my "Trade Diary" to see what were the difference of thoughts between both trades. I was levered heavily on these F&O trades by holding a margin position. Made ~73k that day with a Capital at Risk/Trade under 25k at all times. I have since left F&O, I have found better use of my time elsewhere and taxation on F&O income is not worth it anymore to me. What about you all? Any trades/lessons to share for all of us?

As u guys know only 5L is insured, I want to know how much you’re comfortable keeping in account? Maybe someone’s living expense could be 10L a year and they are okay with keeping that as emergency fund liquid, just an instance. But given the kinds of scams and stuff that go on in wild, what is a good formula or number of Lacs to keep in bank account? Maybe u have several accounts for different purpose and u divide it? Please share your views.

So, I have started investing in MFs. Started from very low amt of 7k pm which is divided into 3 parts: Large Cap: 2.5k, Medium Cap: 2.5k and Small Cap: 2k. MF Invested: Icici bluechip direct growth, HDFC mid cap direct growth and Quant small cap direct growth My financials: Fixed: 8L Now my question is, in coming 6 months by what amount or % should I increase my monthly SIP.

Age 30, married, expecting to be alive till 80 50 L in cash Own house & car (no plan to sell any of them) No kids, no loans, no expectations, just basic life Nothing from family Excel calculation is hinting yes :) But need practical advice

Just met a dear friend with 10+ yoe and earning 33L per anam. He doesn't want to get promoted or salary hike as he is getting enough as per need and wants to have good WLB. He is accumulating a 3cr corpus and planning to retire in 10 years in his hometown in Ranchi. Debt free - family house in Ranchi and married with no kids - single income. Isn't the amount very small/too risky? Considering anything can go wrong in future and you should work really hard in 30s to avoid that as much as you can. What's your opinion? Ps. I’ll go first. 1. What kind of investor are you? I am an opportunity investor, and I do buy good stocks whenever they are in reasonable valuations. Below are my monthly numbers. 2. Where’s the majority of your investment portfolio ? I have three RE investments and one of them has loan. And I’m planning to buy a property in Goa or HP. 3. What’s your monthly investment breakdown? 1.7L/ Month (approx) 60k - SIP (mutual funds) 60k - stocks (smallcase, us stocks using vested) 30k - as opportunity fund, this is transferred to a different bank account 10-20k - for experimental investments in crypto, nfts, and some trading. This is a new segment and I don’t have much experience in this and that’s why starting small here. 4. Anything else you want to share? I am learning to invest on a daily basis. Hey folks, I'm a recent graduate, got a job at a startup and the base will be <15, >10. Shifted to Bangalore (more like returning after 6 years, lived for 4 years before that). Since I'll be starting my full time journey soon, I want to know how you guys split your take home salary into needs, wants, luxury, savings, investing etc. Currently, I'm in a rented flat in HSR (my split is 7k) and will rent out/buy some home appliances. Food would be around 10k a month (no maid, all outside). I just want to know your experiences on spending and handling money. Not that I'm bad at it, but this is the start of my journey and I would like to know how other people manage their money, so I'd know if I have to tweak some things. Do tell any strict DOs/DONTs, common mistakes.
