Quit after being constantly micro managed

I quit my toxic job without having another offer in hand. I was working as a PM where I gave it one year thinking that things will stabilize, but they didn't. Now I'm on the job market. I'm looking out for either of the following functions: - PM - Founder's office - Growth Need to land something quickly so I can be sane. About me: I've 4 years of exp with 2 years in product. I've worked with high functioning startups and I thrive in that environment. Hence, looking for a role in a similar environment. Hello good folks of grapevine, I am very confused with my situation right now. I am currently working at a consumer tech unicorn in a strategy role but really burnt out with the working environment. I have no clarity on my roles and responsibilities which keeps changing every week. I am not learning much either. I am planning to quit without any offer in hand (notice period is 2 months, I have enough to survive 5-6 months). I am an IIT-IIM graduate (old ones). Total YOE ~ 4.5 years across strategy consulting, project management and strategy at current startup. Please suggest. Folks who have quit without any offer in hand, how did it work out for you?

Looking for genuine and non diplomatic answers since it will be anonymous. It is upto you to reveal the name of the company you resigned from. Lets discuss!!! I will go first - I quit my last organisation (a famous UPI company) in 2020 because, they still are in old technology. No cloud computing, no kubernates, no terraform. Their entire baremetal infra are in 2 DCs (Mumbai and Bangalore). Leadership ideas are outdated. I was very much bored and looking for a change.

Due to the toxic environment at my current employer(FAANG), I had to resign. I am taking a job which is a step down in pay and role (a refresh basically) and am moving outside tech( no hiring in tech rn :/) In short to long term, how can I save this career mishap? Although the step down is worth it mentally, given the toxicity I am facing in my team at FAANG, I do want to recover professionally. I have applied a lot but I am 100% sure I won’t get a better job in this market.

Hi folks, I have been working at my company since one year, the workplace has become too toxic due to my manager there is too much micromanagement and the pressure has gotten to me, I have tried changing teams but all in vain. Thave tried applying to open position at various companies but not receiving calls. Please suggest companies that are still hiring for SDE-1 position for 1 YOE. Hello GV folks, Have been working in sales for the last 3 years(post MBA - Tier 1 college) and I am basically tired now of all the headache that comes with it, weekly reviews, bashings from both customers as well as internal higher management in case numbers are not happening, which gets very abusive and taxing at times.
