Common "Indian Startups" do your thing🧠👨‍🦯

I am a student at IITR now, looking for a PM internship. I love checking new products as a user and looking for the things that could make it more interesting. I am really stuck because I cannot find the opportunities. I check every LinkedIn, Glassdoor, well found openings but their turnout even after mailing and messaging HR is not good. I really want to put my skills out there in the corporate world and learn new things from professionals. I have not done any internship before and every company shortlisting seeks for previous internships. What would you suggest for my scenario on getting my very first PM internship? I have this time constraint thing for an onsite internship, I just have 2 months for an onsite intern before my college opens up again. Then after, I can definitely work remotely given the opportunity. I always put in all my hard work when a task is assigned to me. Please suggest how I should take things forward? And also, if you may know of any openings for a product management internship.. please let me know.

A friend of mine is working at a leading financial services company with over 100k employees. He feels like he'd want to be part of something smaller, create more impact and help it grow rather than be just a part of the crowd. Where should he start? How can he find the suitable people and jobs?

How do you guys find cool Startups to apply for jobs? Linkedin seems useless to me for this. Also feel free to comment about any startup you know that is doing cool stuff in the Indian market. I am specifically looking for hardware or hardware adjacent startups

I am applying for Roles in Linkedinwhich I was qualified well (may be I am overhyping myself) but I am not getting shortlisted for any of the roles applying. Is there anything I should do instead of just applying ?

Hello I'm 22F a 4th year student from a tier 3 college. I got placed on campus in a very small scale startup for 6.5 lpa but the internship period was of 9 months at 15k per month in blr. Now they have announced that they won't be giving PPO to us. My internship is ending in March 2024 before that I need to get into a new job. But all the openings are low paying i.e. 3 or 4lpa jobs and I'm in doubt with my DSA skills. I need someone who can mentor me on this path. I've worked on mostly Java, Springboot, Automation testing and C++. How should I prepare along with my internship in this 2 months?

I'm a passionate final-year student who's been immersed in the Indian startup ecosystem for over 5 years. Always saw myslef working in a startup, I'm actively seeking an internship in a startup with a solid product and strong culture. My skillset is a includes both softwere and hardwere. I excel in Python, Django, and DRF for backend development, Flutter for mobile development. My experience with Linux, Raspberry Pi and embedded C extends my capabilities to the realm of embedded systems, making me a well-rounded tech enthusiast. I'm highly self-motivated with good problem-solving skills just looking to work with relevant startup.

Recently seeing alot many posts on LinkedIn about companies and startups are hiring interns in large numbers for core functions like tech, product, biz etc. Am I the only one who is thinking that companies simply want to get the work done using these interns and avoiding hiring full time employees? Signs of not to good days. Also winter internships were not these common or were they? 🫤
