Bench Policy at EY

Is anyone on the bench period for a long time ? I have been talking to people who are on the bench for quite some time(months) and not getting any project calls.

I want to know if you are rolled off from project in Deloitte India. How much time can you stay on bench, then too when you have recently been confirmed. Also, is there a risk of being fired?

It's been a year since I joined Capgemini. I worked in a telecom project but it got ramped down and now I am on the bench for 4 months. Anyone who could help me get a new project. Or any other suggestions are welcome.

i recently joined EY India LLP as a senior tech consultant 2 months back, I'm still on bench and appeared in 4 client interviews but unable to crack. I'm feeling a bit insecure now. Do I need to start looking outside? Or I'm safe on the bench?

It has almost been 18 months since I have joined TCS. I was on the bench for a total of 5 months in the beginning, and finally got a project. I went to the office and my manager told me that it would take few days for document verification and security clearance. I was coming to the office daily but had nothing to do. I was getting anxious since I was just watching Youtube videos for almost a month. I wanted WFH but when I asked they said I had to come to office even if I had no work. Finally, I got a KT from someone working on the project. I came to realise that I was doing work that even a 9th class student can do. The problem? 5 people were doing this work. The problem? I was working 30 minutes a day. I had to come early to the office, login using my seniors login creds and do timepass work. I have to send an email to our point of contact at the client side that the work is done at the end of the day. I have learnt nothing here. I feel that these companies are just too inefficient. I am planning to leave ASAP now. I have learnt nothing and I am scared that I will not find another job because I have the Years of Experience but no skills. This is how IT companies destroy your career. Now I am doing DSA to get into another company.

Hello everyone. I am looking for a Java Developer role in startups. I have 10 months experience till now and want to switch. I have knowledge of Java, Core Java, Java 8, Spring boot, Spring batch, Reactive programming, Javascript, Reactjs. I also have knowledge of AWS and am currently learning Apache Kafka for expanding my knowledge. I have completed 2 internships and also have been building apis for the backend in my current organization but next month my project is going to end and I'll be moved to the bench where I need to sit for the next 8 months if I stay. If someone has any job opportunities for me let me know.

Getting multiple calls though am not getting mapped to any. I changed my previous account because I was not getting things to learn, now that has become a major problem to switch.

I'm tired of this company working on two projects simultaneously, just mentally checked out . How long before you get pulled up for doing the bare minimum
