There are some 230m IPhones sold every year. That will go down. That's not growing, despite countries like India (10m sales last year) which are growing 50-70% yoy. Which means in developed markets IPhone sales are declining. Apple needs another breakthrough, otherwise growth will stagnate. Don't know how Visionpro is performing,but doesn't look like the answer.

If you startup SOM is more than a billion customers, could you raise $40 mil as seed funding?

Look you need to have few database server farm decentralised for major countries,, and those will handle millions of searches every second plus you need to build an entire company and software systems to serve customers with potential few office and sales in 5 major countries. The product is full market fit and even 500 million users might pay a premium for it. What's your view? If any questions, please ask in comment.

Eloelo is probably a scam

Today raised $22m series B. No revenue. Video streaming app with Less than 1m daily users in india is valued over $100m... So every random person in india is worth over $100? Lol. Competition, Chingari, Rooter, both in trouble. Eloelo has worse engagement than both (I looked on data.ai) Definitely faking numbers to investors, why else would anyone invest.

Ilya Sutskever, OpenAI’s former chief scientist, is launching Safe Superintelligence Inc., an AI startup “prioritizing safety over commercial pressures”. What’s SSI? Safe Superintelligence Inc. (SSI) aims to create a safe and powerful AI system, approaching safety and capabilities in tandem while avoiding distraction by management overhead or product cycles. Team? SSI is co-founded by Daniel Gross, a former AI lead at Apple, and Daniel Levy, who previously worked at OpenAI. Unlike OpenAI, SSI will not pursue partnerships with companies like Apple and Microsoft. What are they upto? Well, SSI’s first product will be safe superintelligence, and the company “will not do anything else” until then 🤐 Still no idea what this means but great team doing something, will be super exciting to see this pan out!
