No work requires 40 hours when done efficiently in a mature setup. Longer work hours are probably needed when any firm is young.
But the government advisors don't agree with this point. They want to take inspiration from Modi ji as he works for 18 hours per day.

Yes one generation needs to put up the effort. Let that be his generation. Younger folks can conitnue with the 40 hr work week. Same pay.

If not that, then 84 hour law should be applicable only to owners/major shareholders of the companies. 😄
