How to ask salary of a peer without actually asking their salary?

I joined a new position 4 months ago After I accepted the offer, multiple sources told me I had left about 6-7L on the table Yesterday I was going through the company's job site, and the difference between the starting salary and my salary is about 11L Dead inside would be an understatement What can I do? Do I speak with my manager? If you were a manager, what would you do? They obviously hand-twisted me to pay less, but damn so much saved. Please don't ask company name

These days HRs are asking the employees before sitting for an interview about their current ctc. I don’t want to reveal that to them and want to get paid according to the industry standards/ based on the market conditions. How to smoothly avoid that question and avoid getting underpaid?

Hey, I am a SWE with 2 yrs exp. recently I found out that juniors in my team are being paid atleast 10% more than me. This thing has been bugging me so much that I setup a meeting with my manager but here’s the thing- I have no idea how to talk about this to my manager. I obviously think it’s unfair given how much more work I am doing. Can experienced people here please guide me on how to approach this meeting? Thanks!

Friends, a genuine question.. need your suggestions... How can one know if he/she is paid reasonably, or underpaid or overpaid? I try to analyse my peers network, but I always find people of similar work experiences having similar skills getting salaries higher than me as well as lower than me.. It's kinda distributed.. So how can one evaluate or know the correct salary for a given person? Any idea? I think this will be helpful for everyone during salary negotiations. Note : I'm a software developer majorly backend with a slight hold of frontend. Also have done a few projects on data science. Around 4-5 years of work experience.

Guys, I have 8 years of IT experience out of which , 2.5 in azure. I got a call from Capegemni HR , saying there's an azure opening, asked for my current and expected CTC. I said the current is 7 LPA and expected is 20 LPA. It's a hybrid role with 3 days working from the office. She said it is not possible, Max they can give is 10-13. I am in Kerala,and have a baby under 1. I have to relocate if I get it. I don't think it is fair salary. Is it ok if we don't tell when they're asking for our current salary based on which they will give max 100% if we perform exceptionally in the interview. Or how can I deal this? Thanks in advance.
