Google team match
Hey all, Few days back I interviewed for Google and got a TM the HM did brief about the role but it was related to cloud VM instances identifying the bottle necks and analysing performance. I didn't get to see any dev work here, but I really like building something instead of monitoring or analysing it. When I asked Recruiter regarding other TM rounds she said if you not take this you may have to end up waiting for months like many folks do right now. What do you suggest should I take this role because it's GOOGLE or take risk and wait.
I'll have to relocate to bangalore. Google doesn't provide complete remote options AFAIK.
Not worth it then. On average, SWEs don't generally get to work on impactful things in Google and are hired as a cog in a big machine, on top of that you are being hired with a glorified SRE title.
Google is known as a retirement company. Join that role only if you want to rest and vest.
