Would you prefer going for an MS/MBA in a good market or a bad market?

The way I see it, it's pointless to pursue higher education when the market's bad unless you have a very specific goal. In most cases, a master's degree gives you a boost immediately after the degree. If you can't maximize your options immediately after your course ends, it'll be much harder to leverage it a few years down the line. Careers don't grow linearly. You want to stack as many multipliers as possible. What do you think?
