Advice needed for PowerBI and DAX

Hi, I am currently evaluating which BI tool will be implemented across the company. In my earlier companies I have used Superset where I wrote SQL queries for each dashboard or insight requirement and created a visualisation directly from them. I realised that in Power BI I can't write SQL queries directly, I can only connect directly to the database tables and do the transformation inside Power BI. A workaround would be to write sql queries separately and create a view in my db and then connect power BI to the view to create a dashboard. I want to ask for your opinions on this. 1. Should I move to a tool where I can write queries and make visualisations. 2. Use views with power BI. 3. Simply abandon SQL queries and just do transformations entirely in power BI.

Skillset : SQL, PowerBI, Python, Advance Excel, ML, Very basic Azure (Just started learning) 1.5 yrs of experience in TCS in PLSQL DB Team I am confused as to which field should I venture into, Big data or data engineering or cloud architect? I like coding but not way too much. (7 on a scale of 1 -10) I love communicating and organising/managing stuff(9 on a scale of 10) I love working with data but I dont want to be a generalist/data analyst. I would like to make good money

Hi everyone , I have been tagged in an non tech support project where aquiring skills is not possible it's been 3 years i am trying to gain few skills like expertise in excel , sql , power bi , tableau , i also have interest in search engine optimisation and SAP basis/MM or database admin profile Please note i am not from coding/development background and i do not intent to go in that field as well. Can anyone please suggest how to expertise in these where i can work on handson as well because organisations does not provide access to tools like power bi or tableau for learning purpose since cost is involved so what do you suggest how to be interview ready and really gaining expertise in these skills. I am currently in a sales generalist role making around 3 LPA in a startup. I am already 25 and I would like to switch into account management or a media buying role. What skills or tools should I consider learning? Currently learning excel & will be starting power BI. My goal is to reach at least 10 LPA this year through any certification or a skill. I know I have higher expectations but I am ready to learn anything that it takes.

I used to work as a Business Analyst, currently working as Senior Data Analyst. I want to go back towards the business side only. Any suggestions on what are new skills to add on in Sql, Python, Power bi, tableau and excel?? I was thinking of starting with databricks.

Apologies for this long post, but I am mostly relying on Grapevine community to help me at this career crossroad. I spent almost 10+ years in operations after joining TCS but realised that i was just climbing corporate ladder without developing any real skill. I asked my BRM to involve me in something and i was given chance to work on RFP for which i managed entire flow from data collection to analysis to presentation. To my surprise, my work was appreciated and started getting more such work and i liked it doing even though i knew i am not going to get much credit for it. Then i decided to move out of ops and joined other project as strategy & insight- analyst and i did well there receiving accolades from client. Project got closed but i realised that I am good with complex data analysis and presentation of the same. I learned power bi and Microstrategy as well. But post that, i never got any suitable project and senior suggested me to learn developer/architecture of any BI tool because as per them that is what required apart from preparing dashboard. I am learning Microstrategy developer now but I have accepted L2 support role as I am not getting any suitable role. My question is ..after all this - What should i do now? What should i learn now to enter into my interest area ? PS: I am from non-technical background and i have started learning SQL.
