Too late to ask I guess, but what exactly is growth?
The way I see it growth = acquisition + activation. Do you agree with this definition?
If you are product manager, there is still time, start thinking about "meaningful growth"..
Think about ROI..where cost of acquisition + activation is less value added by that acquisition and activation.

I know this is all jargon, but my question is specifically -- does activation come under the growth charter?
I have always thought of acquisition as a 'Marketing' function metric and activation as a 'Product' function metric. But then I guess a growth PM looks after both? Does that mean growth is an umbrella term for activation and acquisition?
Purpose for this question is getting better clarity on JDs/during interviews

They will work with the marketing teams to own the growth charter, whether via organic or performance marketing because a lot of it is tied with the product for ex landing pages, funnel optimisation etc.
Primarily what you are looking after is your LTV should be greater than your CAC.
Also, at times growth folks are also looking at retention since just bringing people to the platform and not retaining them would lead the product nowhere.
