Does anyone else feel exhausted on weekends?

Any weekend plans? Is it only me who’s just sitting idle and thinking what to do during weekends, and will end up getting bored or probably sleeping? Any good suggestions?

Has someone else also felt this that the weekends feel too lonely and saddening. I go to office 5 days a week have good set of work friends across team (the people in my fellowship), go to gym and hangout with people in PG. But boom as weekend is here there is no work no Gym no friends in office or pG to hangout with. Friday night I pass with playstation games but Saturday becomes like a helll for me. I forcibly motivate myself to give a mock test on Sunday and end the weekend but weekend is like the worst part of my week. Anyone else facing it or tips to make it better

I am a 29 YO single male. I earn decently well for my age. Lately I haven’t been feeling well. As in, life is just passing by and nothing brings me joy anymore - No PS5, No long drives, no movies or shows. Weekends are especially lonely. During weekdays, I make sure I go to my office everyday even though it’s hybrid, to avoid feeling lonely. I don’t have any female friends to talk about things deeply as most of those friends are now getting married. (you know how is it with us boys. It feels weird to share emotions or talk about life with the same sex somehow). Same for male friends. They are all getting married. Somehow, it just feels like I focused too much on my work and didn’t invest time in finding a mate at the right time. Now, on weekends, I just lay on my bed like a loser. I was never like this. I had so much drive to work, to explore, etc. But now it all seems pointless. Do you guys have any suggestions on what to do?

I'm so slammed with my day job that i barely have any time left to work on my ideas. On the weekends i just want to rest and recoup. How do you founders do this? I work at least 10 hours a day. Then there's commute, lunch and bathroom breaks. Sucks dude.

I've been thinking about how we're always connected to work these days. The line between work and personal time seems to be getting blurrier, with our phones constantly buzzing with work notifications. It's becoming a real challenge for many to truly disconnect and maintain a healthy work-life balance. I've personally struggled with this - just last week, I found myself answering work emails at on a Saturday, and it made me realize how much it's affecting my downtime. In an age of constant connectivity, how do you manage work-related communication outside office hours? What boundaries have you or your company set to prevent burnout?

What are your weekends usually like as a PM?

I’m finally in Bengaluru and this city seems glitzy yet underdeveloped. What a weird dichotomy. 🫨

For me it’s always around stakeholder management. I’m kind of an introvert, and it drains down all my energy to talk to different sort of people throughout the day. Post meetings, I barely have any energy left to actually work on stuff that is important. I kind of have sleepless nights, especially when I have to present something to senior leadership, I know they will have questions, or will slice/dice data in a way that will require me 2/3 days of work to get back to them. Luckily, I’ve got an EM who kind of handles the engineering part really well. So I’m not bogged down by the meetings on engineering front. What do hacks do you use to really align well with stakeholders? ps: my manager is kind of supportive, but they will throw me under the bus, if tough questions are asked in any of the high level meetings.

Or is it just me so that I may get on with my mundane life and keep myself busy as I have nothing better to do 😪
