This is incorrect.
Bytedance still has significant employee presence in India. Estimated 3K employees.
Most of them are in the Quality teams that screen and flag content on TikTok for global markets.
You've misinterpreted the ban on TikTok the app to be available in India to ByteDance being allowed to function as a company.
That's what I thought - I knew a person working at Bytedance so this post left me very confused.
I'd never take a comment from someone named sugarbaby seriously, that too one with every claim caveated by "it is rumoured".

Also indian govt has stopped the operation of tiktok which still holds true after tiktok acquisition of tokopedia
Oracle acquired Tiktok US but the govt. didn't stop Oracle operations in India. Similarly, Gojek operations in India won't stop because Bytedance acquired Gojek. Also, Gojek doesn't have any product or service offerings for India AFAIK so there are no India operations to stop.
The above Insta post is just illogical fear-mongerimg.
