Executive MBA or normal MBA is better?

@Folks_who_hire: Would you value (in terms of hiring, salaries) an executive MBA as much as a regular MBA in the Indian Job market? (Job types: Senior Management roles in consulting, consumer goods, finance)

I am thinking of doing an executive MBA for a better salary hike. I am not in a situation where I would want to drop my current job and take up a regular MBA, moreover executive MBAs let you get those degrees from good colleges. I am currently getting 7.8LPA, how much hike can I expect by the end of my executive MBA?

Hi everyone, I'm looking to enroll in a part-time (weekend/evening) executive MBA program at an IIM or similar institution. I need advice on the following: 1. Which program/institute would be most beneficial for personal branding, networking, career and monetary growth, and learning business fundamentals with an eye toward future business ownership? 2. I am confused if I am the right candidate for the program. I don't have a solid reason for pursuing this course. My thoughts: 1. How will this degree help me in my career growth? 2. am I already earning more than what usually is earned by a passing out MBA grad? 3. I will get married in the next 2 years, and I want to get done with any additional degree before that. 4. What if my career growth hit some blockers just because I didn't invest some time and lacs into this degree. About Me: I have 4 and half years of experience as a Data Engineer. My academics are phenomenal (10 CGPA in 10th, 78% in 12th(99 percentile State Board) and Gold medalist in Btech with CGPA of 9.2 from new IIIT. Experience: ZS, Flipkart, Grammerly Current role: SDE2 / L2, will be promoted in next 6 months Salary: Cash component: 35LPA+RSU( projected to reach 40LPA + more RSU) in next 6 months) Pls, this post is not to brag. I am asking for genuine advice on why one with such a portfolio should join an MBA degree program. My motive is just lying in how it will increases my earning potential along with career growth.

For all techies who have been in industry for more than 4 years, is it worth to do mba from iims if you want to venture out of software and get into business. 24 M, TC 45 Few cons which i can think of are - you lose out on the salary of the two years - end up with a debt - you get the job which is gonna pay at par or below the the current salary pros can be - you grow quicker once you are in the industry - you get exposed to much bigger network of professionals and senior execs of multiple firms - 5 year down the line, you salary can get much better when comparing with tech job I need help with making an educated decision on whether to go for it or not, thank you
