Is mba worth it ?
For all techies who have been in industry for more than 4 years, is it worth to do mba from iims if you want to venture out of software and get into business. 24 M, TC 45 Few cons which i can think of are - you lose out on the salary of the two years - end up with a debt - you get the job which is gonna pay at par or below the the current salary pros can be - you grow quicker once you are in the industry - you get exposed to much bigger network of professionals and senior execs of multiple firms - 5 year down the line, you salary can get much better when comparing with tech job I need help with making an educated decision on whether to go for it or not, thank you
FMS se krlo worth it hai, IIM ka fees aspect is debatable but yes in very long run IIM ABC is worth it.
If your goal is to get into business, and not secure another job with a higher pay, you can also consider Executive MBA.
