Should I join Great learning as Program Manager( International operations)

Hello folks, So I got an offer from a US based product company for remote role for Product designer. This company just raised a seed funding. They don’t have any office in India but their tech team and some of the people from leadership team (CxOs) are from India. I’m confused whether to go with this offer or not. Reason: 1. Their interview process was too good to be true, it was very quick, no assignments given, they just saw the portfolio, ask some process related questions and then they agreed to give offer. 2. It’s a pure remote company with no plans to build office in India in coming future. 3. They have very small team, I’ll be working as 2nd designer only. 4. As per the current job market, I’m afraid about their future. YOE : 3yrs Hike that I’m getting is 50% Help a fellow UX designer decide whether to go with this or not.

I have a job offer as a SDE 1 Frontend role at a Saas startup. I will be 25 in May and have 1.5 yoe and the offer is 17LPA. They have a team of 7 engineers. They have over 1m+ downloads on Play Store but very very small number of paid customers, so negligible revenue. They took funding 1.5m $ last year. I'll get the opportunity to kind of own the new product that we will be building. The job location is Bengaluru. I feel growth opportunity will be there as I'll be one of the few frontend developers but I feel very overwhelmed with the responsibility as I don't have much experience and I fell I'll be incapable of doing it. Also is it worth joining such a risky startup and shift to Bengaluru? I also have to work as a customer support person half day in a week because it's a small startup so you have to play every role. Please help!!! Because eventually I want to join a bigger company which is well known and reputed because I want to get married and reputation of the company matters a lot in my community and all the knowledge I'll gain working at this small startup would be of no use as for interview prep at reputed companies you need to do DSA LLD HLD for which I believe I'll need around 1+ year just to prep and I feel I won't get time working at this small company due to the workload as the product is not yet built.

I am already Product Manager. With salary same as avg ISB graduate salary. I am 31 years old. Should I do it ? Or keep pursuing the job hunt ?

I am a PM intern at a compliance industry startup. Already interned for 3 months and 3 are still left. I will be getting a FTE offer to join from 1st May. Should I join it or look out for APM opportunities? If I look out for new opportunities, then what sector of Startups should I search for. So that I can at least go through these layoffs without being jobless.

Hello Everyone, I am a 2022 MBA pass out from an Old IIM, and I have a total work experience of 2 years & 4 months(1.2 years post-MBA as an APM). I resigned from my position as an 'Associate Product Manager' in June 2023 because I found the role unfulfilling, I was totally not enjoying it, and I aspired to transition into roles related to the Strategy and Growth domain. However, this opportunity is a 6-month internship ( Designation: Strategy and Ops Intern), with the potential for conversion to a full-time role based on performance. I'm seeking advice on whether or not I should pursue this opportunity. Additional Information: Over the past 3-4 months, I've actively applied to numerous Strategy and Growth roles. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any shortlists for these positions since they typically required a minimum of 2 years of experience in Strategy Consulting, which I currently lack, on the other side, I was only getting shortlists for APM/PM roles which I was accepting as I was not having any other option at that point in time. My Take: I consider this as a great opportunity to kickstart my career in the Strategy domain and I am confident about the conversion of a full-time opportunity. I am extremely interested in building my career in this strategy domain and this was the major reason to left my previous jobs. The organization also explicitly mentioned that they were also looking for a long-term association with me. I would greatly appreciate your insights on this matter. Thank you so much for your time

My background: 2024 grad, intern at an startup in Bengaluru, internship extended for 3 months recession is the reason told, no chance of fte. Now, getting an offer from a startup. Team of 15-16 people. Pre seed stage startup. Will be building product from scratch. Lots of learning. Offering decent hike and since i m part of first team...getting small equity too. Should I join this offer? I m confused. But also thinking...it is risky but a lot to learn and growth potential is v high. Tell what do u guys think??

How's the current job market like according to you guys? More specifically in Bangalore. I recently got an offer from an upcoming digital commerce player. They're giving a 35% pay hike and the role is decent. I don't love it , I don't hate it either. My only issue is it's based out of Delhi, a city I'm not a big fan of. To give more context I've been born and raised in Delhi but I've been living away from home for 8 years now. It's a city thats familiar but comes with its down baggage. I find the people too aggressive and don't have much of a circle left there. Got laid off from the Bangalore startup I was working at some 3 months back. I have a decent runway but frankly it's not making too much sense to keep paying rent in Bangalore anymore. I keep oscillating between taking this offer and letting it go. Thoughts?

Hey all, I've recently recieved a couple of offers in the product management space and would be grateful if y'all could help me weigh in the pros and cons. Context: I'm a Tier-1 engineering grad with <1 yoe. 1. Product analyst at an insanely profitable, bootstrapped startup in the gaming space (industry of preference). The product and strategy are best in class and would be a great learning experience. I would be working in the team associated with their primary cash cow business unit. However, I've heard that the working hours are slightly long and wlb would take a hit. Also, my pay would be quite high and if I were to make a switch for an APM role, there would be very few options that would give a hike over this given my YOE. 2. Associate Product Manager at Flobiz, a Fintech pivoting to be a neobank for SMEs. This was my first offer and on informing the HR that I would be taking up the other offer, the co-founder who had taken my final interview has requested me for a chat. The work culture seems great with a strong alumni network currently in the firm. They are ready to match the pay as well but ESOPs would probably not be liquidated any time soon. The brand name is inferior as well, compared to the other firm.
