Fintech audits

I have recently got laid off from one of the Fintech firms. They have been silently letting off people since last year but the no. Of employees let go have been higher in the past 2-3 months. They have downsized by more than 100 people in the last 8-10 months to avoid PR disaster. Not naming the company but just wanted to know if this is right way to do it both from employee and employer perspective.

Given what RBI has gone today is effectively shut down 60-70% of Paytm’s business, to survive, Paytm will end up doing mass layoffs of a scale that we haven’t seen before in India. And potentially with limited severance (not as generous as what swiggy or Big tech has been doing) What would this mean for the rest of job market? So much unemployment in high earning folks, limited new jobs, means very tough competition for each opening and extremely bad situation in terms of appraisals and hikes too.

Hey guys, Am a PM in the electric Mobility space. For a product am working on, I need some clarity on the regulations around wallets and payment methods. Can someone direct me to a forum or a person experienced in the fintech payments space to understand the regulations??

The current place I have been working at proclaims to be recently funded but has been delaying salaries by over a month. Almost every one is looking for new roles. It’s been hard to find a role with current market scenarios. Any help would be welcome! experience- 6.5 years

Good fintech companies to work with ?

Is this true or is it just me? I feel at this point there are no moats in consumer fintech. The framework seems to be in a rut, everybody is doing the same thing. Account aggregator, spend insights, personal loans, credit card, mutual funds, indian stocks, us stocks, etc etc. If 5 different apps have literally the same features, with no meaningful edge over the other, what would you go for? How do they stand out? Customer support? Onboarding? Branding? Picking a niche TG? Wanna hear what other product folks think about this.
