Front SSE looking for System Design resources

Hey Guys,

I’m a front end developer closing in on 10YOE. Looking at the current market, I want to be interview ready before push comes to the shove.

However I am looking for resources for system design rounds. I have seen companies have different expectations for system design from front end roles.

Thanks in Advance. Cheers!

I am preparing for now using the above link and one more paid resource. I have never appeared for Frontend System design interview as of now so can't tell if it is helpful or not.

Hi, from your experience how has frontedm treated you? What would you recommend for someone who is trying to and want to break in frontend?

Well I am a mentor as well, so I can tell from experience teaching folks breaking into tech as front end.

You need to get really good with your basics. Learn JS fundamentals and Dom concepts. I have been naturally interested in Front end especially coming from non tech background.

However I feel front end is a really good avenue for people. Especially big companies.

Thank you that helps. I am currently working on my skillset to break into frontend in the coming months! My transition would also be from non tech to tech (if that happens)

What UI framework have you worked until so far may be beginning from jquery? How do you see yourself with this skill in a longer term to grow?

Just curious?

Well I started with extJs+Java, then knockout, jquery for a bit, AngularJS, Angular, React. Go lang for a bit.

I think in career growth I see myself in leadership roles going forward while also contributing technically.
