Don’t do it because your user research resoundingly approves the concept.
People don’t read what they think they want, they read what they didn’t know they wanted.
Nobody wants to say no and look stupid for a futuristic newsletter. But in a world of constant content consumption, why would I care about your future predictions. Even if I cared in the beginning, why should I care for a long term. There are hundreds of predictions of technology everywhere. My inbox is filled with newsletter subscriptions I barely read, yours will be one more.
Why should I spend a waking minute of my life on another new thing, which I don’t really know whether it will last for more than a few months.
A User during research is optimistic but extremely pessimistic in real world.
Write,
Because you want to
Because it gives you happiness
Because it feeds your soul
Because it saves you from your daily drudgery
Because it’s the first thing and the last thing you want to do everyday
Publish it to others after.
