Advice needed

Hello folks, This is a call for every software engineer and broader community. I’m a 30 year old customer support employee who worked at Airtel, MPL, Wazirx and I have 5 years of total experience all things customer support. About a year ago, laid off at Wazirx due to crypto taxes and regulations and it’s been an uphill battle to find a steady job in the market. Did few freelance jobs but nothing is working out. I’m at a point where I’m unable to even get by on monthly basis. I’m a Engg dropout as well, so no degree, no real top notch experience to land other roles. I finally decided to have a crack at software jobs and pivot to whole new field. I have few queries, if anyone can find some time and answer them, it would mean the world to me 1. Do I need a degree to land software roles ? 2. To pivot to coding roles ( no prior experience), where should i start ? 3. There’s an ocean of misinformation out there, I’m really confused on where to start and which courses to take up? ( Planning to take up Phyton ) 4. Can coding help to land freelance jobs ( I know it’s difficult and takes time to reach good enough of a level but I’m willing to work hard and put the hours in ). 5. I know companies doesn’t bet on candidates without a degree but what’s the best way to approach this scenario? Thanks a lot for your time for answering these queries. Highly appreciated 🙏🏼

I am currently working as an Industrial Designer at a Startup ( 14 LPA ). I have a Master’s Degree in Design from Indian Institute of Science. I am not finding jobs and am very confused about wether to continue as an Industrial Designer since I see very less demand as of now. On the other hand UX design is very lucrative in terms of perks and package. Your thoughts would be really helpful.

I have done btech from a tier 2 colg in civil engineering (2015 pass out). There after I worked for 2 yrs and left my job for UPSC preparation. Now after 4 years I am stuck without job. I want to get into IT sector, what should be the roadmap. My strengths: strong hold on mathematics, aptitude, and English. My weakness: never coded before. Shall I go for SDE roles or Data science. I am a bit confused because I am new to this field with no experience and a gap of almost 5 years

my_qualification: B.Tech IT from tier-3 college. 70% I am 24 years old. I graduated in 2021 and had total 13 backlogs during UG and it took me 5 years to complete my degree. I am unemployed since my graduation and have been wasting my time on learning random things or multiple technologies at a same time. 2 months ago I decided to go to Canada for masters and my family supported me, my friend suggested me MS Data Science because he is Data Scientist in Canada. So, I gave IELTS in March and scored 7 band. Recently I had a talk with an Agency named Canam. And they suggested me to get Experience Letter + offer letter + LOR from employer + last 6 months payslip also Backlog Certificate from college but I don't have any of these things. What should I do in this situation? How should I move forward? How can I get my life on track? I'm just confused and not sure what should I do.

I'm 24 year old unemployed. I graduated in 2021 with BTech IT from tier 3 college. Initially I was preparing for UPSC exam but I gave up after few months and now for a year I have been learning Front End Development and have learnt HTML, CSS, JS & ReactJS but unable to find a job. I made a lot of mistakes in past and didn't learned from them. I'm not good at anything. I apply daily at different platforms ex: wellfound (formerly angellist), hirist, hirect, instahyre, cutshort, individual mass hiring companies off campus but from nowhere I'm getting interview call even if I get call I'm not able to clear interview. Now the thing is my parents gave me ultimatun to get out of the house by April 1st they don't care what type of job I do. I don't understand what can I do now. I'm willing to do hardwork and learn from my mistakes I just need little guidance to get on a track. If anyone can guide me on how to get a job or any advice. I would really appreciate it. I did my BTech in Civil Engineering and have 2 years of experience but I left my job for Govt job preparation and since then 4 years have passed. Can anyone please help me with a direction? Hello, so I am a 26 year old, working in a BPO. Currently I am learning JavaScript and want to become a frontend developer. I don't have any degree and completed my 12th in 2016. Is it wise to pursue any degree for frontend developer job or learn programming and create some projects and is there any company in India who will provide job with only skills and without any degree?

I am a final year b.tech cse student, I don't know much coding, but have an experience of 1 year internship at samsung, but stilk unplaced, I have lost all my confidence, I wasted too much time doing other things than coding, now if i have to start over again to get a job, is it possible for me to get it in 2-3 months.
