All id want is stability
I dont care about money above a certain amount, i dont care about power. I just want my newfound family and my stability. To live a happy life surrounded by my loved ones. I feel as if its not a bad dream to have.
You may not believe but all people who are behind money or power now, also want or wanted the same thing earlier. So be weary of what you're asking for.
Are you really saying that's all that you want? A happy family? And you're not expecting anything more? You have no expectations from your wife and family? What's a happy life surrounded by loved ones?
Will you still love your wife if she refuses sex for 6 months or years? Can you love someone unconditionally?
What is enough money? What if your wife and children want more? What if they want a different life then what you cooked up in your head? You know they are equally as free humans as you are right?
What happens then? You start calculating what each is contributing to your house? You want people to validate you and treat you as the leader of the family, if you don't get it you try to earn money and power? How are you different from others?
What happens then?
Don't conclude your life so early, not even in your head. You want to be a good human being and live a good life? Explore. Find the answer to it.

Your point is valid, and extra money never hurts ofcourse.
However, my main point was that i'm very careful of greed and excess in general.
I'm not advocating for extra money either. I am completely for your sentiment. I am asking you to check on yourself about your definition of a happy life.
Greed and excess is a tendency people submit to, especially when they are aiming for a textbook happy life with a happy family.
