 Talk to their sales. Deals are mostly negotiable. Cloud is cheaper though. Still in development, but works mostly fine.

Im not willing to pay more than i pay for Excel. I doubt they'll charge me that

I've been coding basic stuff for 12 years now(since I was 12). I just know basics of programming I search Google for syntax most of the time. Been long time since I used SQL

Now I'm a professional trader and am planning to switch to tech for stability. 
Because I'm a CA and from commerce background I feel Big tech companies won't consider me for tech role. 

I'm 24 yo and want to start fresh. One of my colleague suggested Datacamp and it's good for beginners. Is it worth buying annual subscription? Suggest any good alternative if available. 

Also, will big tech companies consider non engineers?

Hi,

I am currently evaluating which BI tool will be implemented across the company. In my earlier companies I have used Superset where I wrote SQL queries for each dashboard or insight requirement and created a visualisation directly from them.

I realised that in Power BI I can't write SQL queries directly, I can only connect directly to the database tables and do the transformation inside Power BI. A workaround would be to write sql queries separately and create a view in my db and then connect power BI to the view to create a dashboard.

I want to ask for your opinions on this.

1. Should I move to a tool where I can write queries and make visualisations.

2. Use views with power BI.

3. Simply abandon SQL queries and just do transformations entirely in power BI.

Heard a layoff in Alteryx.

I have been actively (almost desperately) looking for a job switch for almost 6 months now. I have applied to probably 300+ companies. I have used LinkedIn, Instahyre, Naukri. Hardly got 10 call backs over all. 

So, do you guys think paying 8.3k for a yearly LinkedIn subscription would be worth it for me?( I have already used up the trial plan a year ago).
 Anybody noticed some  improvement in recruiter calls after going premium?
