Am I Messing Up My Future by Faking My Resume?
My resume isn't exactly the most honest document out there - I'd say about 60-70% of it is made up of lies or exaggerations. I added a couple of years of experience to get a better salary when I started out, and it worked! Now I'm getting paid like I've got 4.5 years of experience when I'm actually only a 2-year. I'm doing fine in my current job and my skills are up to par, but I can't help but wonder if I'm setting myself up for trouble down the line. I'm thinking about looking for a job in Europe or the US eventually. I doubt they'll do a background check since I'm from a certain country, but I'm still concerned. Any advice would be appreciated!

Wure have you actually added 2 years... I means like which company names you added and what were you doing really at that time???
To get my foot in I also did the same added a company that went bankrupt and noone was there to ask about the company as there was no existing HR or anything. Said I was CMO before being CMO at new company I joined! Basically lied my way to top role

How much are you getting paid in base pay? As currently we are seeing a lot of people getting high salaries in less YOE.
