Hi everyone, I'm currently working as an Analyst and in the long term ( in about 1-2 years)would want to be a PM. Also I work closely with a PM and CEO so I want to transition into a similar role and develop products.
Any suggestions on how I can make it possible? Thru programs ( pmschool and likes ) or communicating my interests to my pm/CEO or any other way ?
I think the second option will be much more efficient and will give you a career stability and a leverage through organisation familiarity.
About the course, I will vehemently request you to stay away from such programs as they are all just plain cash cows. In lieu, I will encourage to find yourself a mentor who is also a Senior PM who can do outcome based sessions with you as well practice interview prep.
