Anniversary post: Grateful for the platform (Part 1)

• Anonymous hence feel less judged than in real life. Of course, unless some of you choose to be (very) vocal about your feelings. People send love over DM and hate in comments – the world we live in :) • Crazy coincidences we might not know. Like, you could be standing in line at the mall next to someone you've already spoken to in DMs on GV, and neither of you would have a clue! Or maybe you're connected on LinkedIn with the person, but completely oblivious to it. • The best part? No discrimination! On caste, religion, name, place, animal, thing • I can speak my mind without fear. The number of rants I have on this platform, if they were anywhere else (social media or real life), I would lose friends and followers in an instant (or landed up in lock up) P.S. I wanted a person/username content search option, like being able to visit @salt 's awesome threads. But I guess it's for the better. Scrolling through a year of my posts, I see I'm not the same person I was last year. P.P.S. A nagging feeling says I'll eventually run into community guideline trouble, despite my best intentions. Part 2 in the evening
