Any idea on SRIB smartthings team?

What's your experience/thought about SRIB as a company during early career years. I think it's slow in terms of growth and learning ops. I am here in the Network team and not interested in learning their network specific tech stack which I feel like not very useful because there are very few companies in the network domain. Hi, recently gave interviews for the Einstein service cloud in Salesforce India which is related to copilots, bots etc for lmts roles. Looks like a new team is getting formed in India. The manager mentioned it is based on monolith, Java, postgres etc. Does anyone have idea on the kind of work and how is the wlb and culture there? Also any pip situation there ? Hi, I'm a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and a tech geek - looking for a career switch. Currently located in NCR region - working for one of the top Indian Unicorns, making 1.2Cr+ every year in salary+stocks. Leaning more towards getting a remote job and get decent WLB. Please let me know if there are really good teams doing ground breaking work OR solving for one of a kind scale challenge at their company in SRE Domain - I'd like to join. PS: Is there a community within grapevine where SREs hang out? I happen to see very less SRE specific posts in general. Ex: I'd want to know how's SRE at say - Disney, Akamai, CRED, PhonePe, Swiggy, Zomato, Google, Rippling, etc - but couldn't find any good hits.

Does anybody here know what the tech culture is like here? Considering interviewing here, for dev roles.

The company did around 10-15% silent layoffs in the last cycle by putting people in PIP. My Manager told me that he has pressure on him to put at least 1 or 2 people in PIP, make them leave the company and reduce costs. Later, the company did as low an appraisal as 2%. Senior folks are leaving specifically Frontend Developers. Salaries of a lot of SDE-2 are below 30 LPA. They have started new positions called Product Developers which will do the same work as SDEs but with a lesser package. PD-1 salary is around 10-12 lakhs and of Lead PD is 20-22 lakhs. The company is putting itself in a position where it wants people to leave on their own. There are almost zero perks in the company. The team outing budget is a joke which is 2k INR per person per year. That is 500 rupees per person per quarter. Also making office mandatory from November.

Any feedback on the team / culture there ?

Currently I am doing an SLI in the frontend team ( React ) at a good company, So for the full time roles after college should I stay in frontend or look for backend opportunities ? What is better for the future ? P.S. I have worked on full stack projects in the college and enjoy both frontend and backend equally.

Which companies are hiring for which role? What are some secret strategies that you guys would suggest to get in?
