Any signs of Big 4 looking to lay off?

Currently in a good WLB company but thinking to go for more challenging environments now. Will it be a good time to apply to companies and switch considering lot of news regarding layoffs in first half of 2024 are going on.

I have 3 years of experience in CyberSecurity - Consulting Considering the recent layoffs from giant companies, I am considering switching within Big4 firm will be the safest option. What do you guys think? Also if not Big4, what other company could be a good option? Like Capegemini or Accenture or McKinsey etc etc??? Thanks in Advance!

Hi folks , for sometime now , I have not been very happy with my current role. I was planning to start looking for opportunities this year but seeing the layoff trends , I am skeptical, my company currently is stable and no risks of layoff as such, just that there is not much learning and growth. Please suggest if this is a good time to look out for new opportunities or stay put.

I'm working in a named company MNC, and aiming to change to other big named MNCs. Is this a good time to look out or should I stay ? Want to leave becz the leadership has either left or is gonna leave coz of restructuring and it's become shitshow now. Having second thought for changing seeing the layoff scenario, but same can be the case at same company as well.

I am an entry level analyst in at Deloitte. Just wondering if these are some signs of a practice not doing great + potential layoffs in a few months/year. 1. Utilization: ~45% last quarter. They originally said that it was a slow start to the year with low CapEx by companies but we still don't look good this quarter now. There was a small call last night between a few people in this project level meeting and the senior management straight up said "Their is no demand and people are still on bench. We need to reallocate some headcount" 2. Headcount growth - Last 1.5 years ago, every month we had 10-15 people join our practice, This has literally gone down to 1-2 hires to replace people who have left. 3. Resignations: 6-7 people are leaving every month in my practice, which is quite harsh. Someone told me that everyone they used to work with when they joined have already left. 4. AI-pocalypse - I feel most companies think that they can now do AI inhouse and niche projects but higher costs because of MS/PhD folks working on it is something they dont want to go for anymore. If a layoff is incoming, what would be the best ways to prep? I see two options: 1. Getting on a boring sad project but long term. 2. Do nothing: I am literally the cheapest resource in the company so they would ideally layoff senior folks first, right??

Hello Freind’s looking for job change, in BIG4 ,any suggestions

I was laid off from big4 with stupid reason is that When I started my carrier I worked in startup in 2015 company now the company is redlisted 2024. With this reson there are saying your company is block listed. The main reason is there need to pay variable pay and 23-24 hike to escape. there are using many tricks to layoff the ppl without notice.
