I am going for a friend's wedding in Bangalore, and have decided to take 2 weeks off and rome around in southern India solo. Possibly south of Bangalore. I've never been to Kerala or Tamil Nadu.

I'm going mid July.

I was thinking I'll go from Mumbai - Bangalore - Bandipur - Wayanad - Kozhikode - Calicut - Mumbai (no of places is not fixed)

I like to trek and rest at the beach equally. Love to swim as well.

While solo travelling I tend to change plans as it suits, I don't pre book much beforehand. So any plans would do, trying to get a rough idea.

Travel date: July 1- July 20
Duration: 5-10 days
Destination preference: trek (India), South east Asia

There are few questions I’ve like:
1. How to handle accommodations?
2. Concern about the safety and security.
3. How to decide which places to visit. I mean can’t roam around uselessly, must have a list of places to visit.
4. Whom to believe, in the sense that, a lot of people are ready scam you when they find you are new here, how to handle that.

If you travel solo very often, then suggest some pointers to keep in mind.

Not any friends nearby.
First time out of home town.

Not any friends in the company as well, mostly I sit alone just casual hi hellos. Don't drink or party hence just stuck in PG.

Dear remote workers on Grapevine, have any of you been on a 2-3 month long workation spanning multiple cities? I am planning to go on one and cover south of India - Coorg, Chikmaglur, Gokarna, Hampi, Kochi, Alleppey, Munnar, Wayanad, Pondicherry. 

Am I being to ambitious? I think I can manage 1-2 weeks or more at most of these places. Will stay in hostels - easier to make friends there + it’s cheap.
