Anyone here enrolled in Stoa’s MBA program?
Saw a couple ads on Instagram and their website seems cool. It seems they have a cohort based learning and I like learning by practical experience model instead of relying on outdated bookish knowledge.
But do these “alternative MBAs” have any legitimacy according to employers? If anyone’s a graduate I wanna ask:
How was the experience? And did you land a job after getting the certificate?
IMO in a country like India, there's already too much competition for each position. Having a regular MBA will always be an advantage over these programs.
Obviously there would be some outliers, but I'm talking about the general scenario.
I am waiting to see how the STOA thing goes for one of my Neighbour.
I think a full-time MBA is anyday better and holds value
Oh yeah let me know how that goes!
Nope
My previous manager once said this: if you want to just learn, go ahead with Stoa. But if you want a certificate having value everywhere, go for regular MBA at a tier 1 college
Only a tier 1 mba is worth it. If you want to just learn, read the course books on your own. They are pretty basic
