Anyone invested in REITs?
Hi everyone, I am looking to include REIT in my portfolio. So need feedback and guidance with respect
- Ways to invest in REIT
- Return expectations and tenure
- Whether REITs actually serve as a hedge to equity and high interest scenarios (as advocated)
- Any other consideration that I should keep in mind before investing.
I am not looking at a large ticket investment, want to invest 1-2 lacs as a retail investor. Thanks in advance!

You can directly invest via the stock broker you use. Held REIT units of Embassy for 2 years, back when lot size was 200, now you can even buy 1 unit Returns are low but there’s a quarterly out pay of dividends/interest No fixed tenure, you can buy and sell them anytime
