I am a middle class boy. Working in Banglore. I am earning 1.5L every month from last 3 yrs. But still I don't have a penny saved. I have to give all my money to my parents. They have huge debts and to avoid extra expenses i am working from home. It is killing my social skill but i am prioritising money over my social skills. I see my friend going to trips all around the world and while me scrolling through Instagram all the time looking at their photos. Still using my college phone and not upgraded to i phone, Uninstalled all shopping apps for unnecessary shopping are some steps I took to save extra money. The point is sometimes i feel proud to help my family to come out of this situation, but in the other hand i am losing the most important time of my life. I really feel this time i pushing me back by 5 yrs and really don't know what to do...

Overall spending close to 16 hours daily on mobile/laptop/TV I have been trying to cut back my screen time. Thinking of not using phone/laptop for an entire day except for making and receiving calls. If you also been working towards detoxing yourself digitally, do share what you have been doing and is that working for you? For me I have idm+, i brought it for 1 rupee using some discount. Some benifits are no ads in any website. I can download any video which is playable except on YouTube. There much more options but I don't use them.

I have been pursuing some aspirational products like Apple Watch SE, Airpods Pro 2, PS5 etc. since a long time. I go to the Amazon page and add it to cart but then my conscience questions me as to is it worth spending so much on it? I earn decently and live in BLR but still I dont fully understand to give my mind a valid reason for purchasing a 40k Watch that shows time, some metrics and some automation. Also 20k for listening music, 50k for playing games. It feels as if is it sane to spend much on these personal material stuff? How do you folks look at this while making purchases?

If you are looking for better spam call blocker app similar to truecaller then what are the few things which as a user you guys will expect as a user ? Truecaller now only about ads now a days, finally decided to build android app. Regarding data and other stuff will figure out something.

This should include everything from home bills, entertainment, medical expenses, trips etc. When I was single (back in 2016), my expenses were around 20k per month. Now I easily go above 1L every month (without rent, we live in our own house). My wife also works and she has her expenses too. Not sure what’s the reason for it though. We live frugally and don’t spend lavishly (atleast I don’t think we do). I barely buy anything for myself (I use 1k earphones and buy clothes from decathalon). My wife is the same. Is this common when you get married? That your expenses permanently increase? Or is there something I should be worried about? TIA

I need a free note taking app for Android. I've used Apple Notes before but couldn't use it on Android now. Evernote sucks, it asks us to purchase premium like every 10mins I need an app with no ads and ability to lock the notes. Please share some suggestions.
