In descending order of arrogance for India. McKinsey - leads by a wide margin BCG Accenture Bain

This is quite off. In my experience Bain has always been least arrogance. Their culture is quite superior to the others too (still poor in the general jobs spectrum). Then the rest.

Arrogant yes, but I can't say they have "little substance". Especially if they've been focused on one industry for a while, then they tend to understand it quite well.

Have a lot of friends across all 3 so never really felt that way
But I do imagine that there is a general guard when meeting someone from such roles for the first time.

Similar with VCs.
