Are Ola & Ola E good companies?

With all these EVs catching fire and Ola not being able to turn a profit, Im curious to know if it really is a solid company or just an investor-money marketing hype? I mean most of the folks I know open Ola LAST, if Uber/Rapido/Blusmart haven’t worked. Ola E is also facing a lot of flak because its EVs are seeing the highest number of incidents. They’ve also had a string of CXOs come and go.

Are Ola + Ola E good companies? Like I’m curious to know what you guys generally think, even from a job perspective.

(PS, for the sake of transparency, I’m a journalist [you can drop me any scoops/leads at backgroundsources@proton.me] but this question has nothing to do with work — i’m seriously, genuinely curious about Ola and Ola Electric and Bhavish Aggarwal. Very few Ola folks speak about the internal goings on at the company)

Know a very close friend - ex Ola Electric - shitty culture, foul temper in leadership - very few good people who handle the tantrums of the leadership and are protective of their team

Battery tech is complicated and if the cells are not arranged properly then the vehicle can catch fire. More R&D is required. Ola is struggling but the ride share and electric vehicle economy is big enough for them to prosper. Just need to fix their shit up.

As per one OLA employee their battery tech is acquired from a Dutch company not R&D in India. Netherlands have a very cool climate when compared to India . Those batteries were not supposed to see harsh summers of India.
