Are there any rule of thumbs that I should know before going to a meeting about my increment
Soon I am going to have a meeting with my manager about my salary increment. Is there something that I should know/prepare before or any rule of thumb? I don't know, this is my first time and I am feeling nervous about it.
I single-handedly worked on some of the most important projects from scratch.
Then I think you’re safe. Make your contribution count. Tell the manager
1/ achievements
2/ hike you’re expecting
Generally, manager would know rough range of the hike. And if there is expectation mismatch then outcomes can be
1/ either they tell you such outrageous hike won’t be possible
2/ they go back to hr/c level to get more hike for you
