Your place of work shows 'my own bussiness' so if you change your username to Mindin' then it will read "Mindin' my own bussiness"

Acknowledge the feedbacks.
Go to the conversation with a number in your mind. This can come from market rates, your peer earnings etc.
If the offered hike is way below your expectations, quote your number + 10-20% and you should have enough points to justify why you deserve it. Correlate it with the tasks you have completed and the market rates. Don't go with your personal issues like the other person got x or I have loans etc.
If the number is satisfactory, convey thanks and let them know that though you are satisfied, you deserve more for the tasks you have accomplished. You can again leverage this conversation during your midyear appraisal.
If it's way above your expectations, convey your happiness.
Don't burn bridges. Managers who appreciate and talk for you are rare. Build those relationships.
