Long-ish post but I’m just thinking out loud here: 

When you’re working in content, you’re always looking for expert insights for your blogs, whitepapers etc. but there are many roadblocks (finding the right person, constant follow ups, too busy to collaborate) and even on platforms like HARO, Qwoted etc. you get AI generated replies. 

What if there’s a tool that automatically creates a list of industry experts you can reach out to, along with extracting their contact info by using AI (analysing their LI, web presence etc.). The tool can also create a personalised email outreach sequence to avoid multiple follow ups too. You can eliminate guesswork and reach out to people who can actually provide meaningful contributions to your piece. 

And for SMEs, instead of scheduling long meetings they can just receive a form with focused questions relevant to the topic where they just respond via text or voice notes. It saves time and ensures fruitful collabs. 

Is this an idea worth exploring or should this just be left alone as a 2am thought? Honest opinions pls, be as brutal as y’all can be :)

Working on an idea of mine which hopefully sees light of the day someday soon in the shape of a cross platform mobile app.

I am very much interested to connect with someone specifically from Cred who has idea about how the rewards and cred coins work from a company's point of view. Also I would like to connect with someone who knows how the e-commerce works on the cred shopping platform.

So in total I want to understand the logic behind cred coins and the way it's calculated plus amalgamating it with an in app shopping portal where merchants list themselves.

Sofor my idea i would love to discuss, be guided by someone who is fascinated by gamification, exploration and startups. I will continue with this series for people who like this kind of content, drop "+1" in the chat and I will tag you the next time I post content.

Imagine you have a very complex situation with varying degrees of randomness. How do you evaluate the probability of certain outcomes? 

One way is a deterministic way which is to sit down and try to compute probabilities of events.
Another way is to simulate these interactions with various seed values and see how these outcomes vary. This is called a Monte Carlo simulation, where we use random sampling to model and analyze complex systems that involve uncertainty.

Let's set up a game and apply a Monte Carlo simulation to it.

You(Hero) and Me(Villain) engage in a strategic coin flipping competition over a series of rounds. Before each round, both of us independently decide whether to flip a coin or pass the turn to the opponent. 

The outcomes are as follows:

1. If both players decide to flip, a fair coin is tossed, and the player who called it correctly gains a point.
2. If one player decides to flip and the other passes, the flipping player gains a point without the need for a coin toss.
3. If both players pass, no points are gained or lost.

We can simulate it by making each decision random:
1. Hero and Villain both independently choose between 0 and 1 for deciding whether to toss or pass. We use 0 as Pass and 1 as Toss.
2. If both pass then we let the scores as is.
3. If one passes and not the other, then we add +1 to whoever decided to toss.
4. If both decide to toss then, we do a random coin flip where 0 = Heads and 1 = Tails. Hero can randomly choose between Heads or Tails. The Villain takes the opposite position.

First is the Monte Carlo Simulation and the difference between potential outcomes for 1000 rounds and 20 simulations, which is the graph shared.

But the friction is way too much, mostly because we are surrounded by people who don’t think the same way, who are stuck in the trap of 9to5 like us, but are also satisfied with it ! 
So I am calling out all the people who may have some crazy idea, or maybe don’t even have and idea ? Just a crazy will to build something of their own !! Let’s connect and spend more time with people who think like you and want to reach somewhere! 📈

Looking for people who want to startup!

I know this will sound like a very biased opinion but just sharing my 2 cents of today’s market.

The way with highest probability of success, money and ensuring a better future for your future generations is to startup.

It has the highest risk, highest reward. But in today’s landscape: where inflation is always higher than your hike, there’s no guarantee of employment even in next 1 years, the effort to remain in top 1% is humongous and many other reasons like that, really make me feel that if you’re able to start a company and even capture 0.1% of market who’s willing to pay something for your service/product, that’s all you need. Of course the struggle doesn’t end there and you have to keep working for as long as possible? But your capacity to earn and provide for generations to come is much higher than working for someone else.

It depends, founding a startup is a 24/7. For me, I need the time that 9-5 jobs provide after work for my health issues. Also my current company is doing a lot of layoffs so everyday I start with uncertainty and anxiety, but cannot quit cos I need the income. We are definitely moving backwards in growth in this corporate slavery, expensive education and inflation. In India, Our entire identities is based on our jobs as though your life is useless if you don’t have one!!
