Sharing my experience within risk consulting team at Deloitte 

Positive: 
- Good brand when I applied for B Schools 
- Generally decent peers of the same age, good friends
- They helped with recalibrating my pay because it was lower than that of others at my age

Negatives:
- They Pay: of course, still ended up much behind other people from college, in the name of brand. 
- Extremely tough to grow within company post 2 years
- Some partners are extremely abusive in all ways, poor culture depending on which case you get
- The travel: especially to very remote places can be pretty taxing

I recently joined a small firm as an article, my friends however joined big-4's, I see them working 15hr/day whereas I'm working around 8-9hrs, I get the hype of a brand name and all but does it actually help in the long run? I wanted to join big-4 but despite clearing in 1st attempt with regular college(university of delhi) , I didn't receive any calls from any big-4s. 

Should I take a transfer if an opportunity comes up or wait for industrial? Views?

Is CA articleship at big-4's worth it?

I am looking for Job in Global Audit in Big 4 or 6 (except KPMG) as Audit Manager from couple of months. 

I do have 6.5 years of post qualification experience. I am May 2017 batch qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

Any job referrals or initiatives would be helpful and appreciated.

Hey guys,
I thought of shifting from Internal Audit to Investment Banking, currently am working in Deloitte in Internal Audit Domain as Senior Risk Analyst.

Reasons for Change in Carrer Path
1. Am seeing life of my seniors who are in the highest position, they have traveling all the time there is no way of personal time for those floks
2. Am aslo a recently qualified CMA and I don't think the future is bright for CMA's in Internal Audit.
3. Mostly importantly what am getting in this job is very less salary
4. Even now am very far fron Family and only god knows about my future if am still in Internal Audit.
5. Main problem is I have seen people (Client's employees) who are CA qualified with experience in Internal Audit are spending their most of the time in Vouching.

Why I want to go to IB?
1. Pay is way more greater
2. No need to do all the repeated work
3. No particular certification / Profesional degree is compulsory
4. No need to travel more.


This are my reasons could you guys please help out with your opinions. It would be so helpful.
