- all VPs have handsome ESOP deal that will make them damn rich if they ride this wave. Davos event (fox interview) expected to strengthen BYJUs brand is US. Sales are growing (slowly) 
- some VPs (legacy) were BDAs turned VPs due to boom. They might see additional responsibility or stress, might have to move out

Possible if ESOPs are already vested as BYJUS does not refresh ESOPS

Possible if VPs are not finding values in ESOPS as it would have been awarded to them for a high value like 14 Billion

Hearing really bad news from BYJUs, firm has silently laid off upto 15-20 K people in months

First, they had a layoff.
Lot of good people quit including great people
Then, they had a second lay off 
Some  great people in the leadership quit.
Middle management people are quitting every day.
Only engineers and other people who are not able to get jobs are remaining 
They shut down majority of US acquisitions
They are trying to sell some of them like Tynkr and Epic
Not able to raise funding till now even though trying since December 
Sales is down 90% 
New Inside Sales process is not working 
They are out of runway.

Heard that there has been some senior management connect, where in due to financial constraints & lack of new round of funding. Some folks will be asked to leave. 
This is a complete 360 from the conversation they had in Mar’23 where in an appraisal was on the cards

It is funny because so many business folks who are adding zero value and doing nothing for years are still there

Paying exorbitant salaries was going to bite them sooner or later, feel sad for those who will loose their jobs. But again have come across ppl who were paid insanely and were laid off not wanting to take a pay cut and join somewhere, infact they will ask more than what was their inflated last drawn salary. Not willing to realise the harsh reality of the current situation.

Cleared all the rounds and even sent the HR the documents they asked for. They also said I would have to relocate to Mumbai. However it's been more than a week and they haven't rolled out an offer letter. HR said that since they invested so heavily in IPL, they are trying to reassess their budget for this quarter, that's why it's taking so long.

Should I be worried? I have a feeling that I even if I get an offer they might try to lowball me/lay off later.
