Hi guys, I am currently working in a SAAS startup as a backend Engineer. Tech stack: MERN, AWS, little bit of GenAI now.

I know most big companies use Java springboot for their backend, so I'm thinking to learn it is I want to switch later. Or should I go for golang as it's becoming very hot in recent times. Or should I continue with NodeJS? Let me know your suggestion.

I have worked on little front end development as well.

I am a senior Data engineer(9YOE) and have worked on a large scale Data warehousing, Spark, Orchestration(Airflow) and visualization on AWS and Azure. I currently don't have scope for tech stack improvement in my current org and would like to learn and implement my personal projects. So far, I have been advised to learn golang and kubernetes so that I could deploy ML models in the future or even move into observability space. Any suggestions on what tech stack I should learn? I want to jump to startups in a couple of months and eventually move into a pure software engineering role. 
Already working on leetcode and practicing system design for the same.

MERN Vs Java full stack

I used to work in python only for data though. Currently learning django to help me write the code for my idea. 

I'm working on an idea that would mostly be a web app.

Users can perform actions on the webpage. Imagine interacting with screens and they would just be images, I'd write the other custom logics.

I am currently in a company with 8.55 lpa ctc ( just graduated this year btech cse) . We do python databricks also sql server and IICS .( basically data engineering ) . Which technology/programming language should I learn next

I have been working on Backend development with NodeJs & ExpressJs with databases like Mysql, pg, redis and rabbitmq and some parts of devops like k8s, gcp etc. for the last 3 years. Before that I was working as a C# developer for 2 years. Now I want to learn something challenging. I am done with creating websites and normal stuff.

People are recommending different things like Golang, Rust, Ruby on Rails, Elixir or anything else.

I want to get a global remote job next year. So what should I work on so that I can work accordingly. The competition shouldn't be that much and side projects should be enough to get a good job. Or give a good roadmap.

With AI improving we see it is quite capable of writing decent codes, how can someone new to tech decide on what to pick up? Frontend or Backend or both. Hi guys, looking forward to some advice. I'm working as a Frontend developer for the past 2 yrs, tech stack is React, Javascript. I'm feeling that I'm bored with the work and not learning much now, just building components and calling new APIs. So I thought I should try backend development. The backend tech stack in my team is Java, Spring boot. I have knowledge of core Java. If I continue with the current role, I might get a promotion next yr but if I change I will not get. Also I eventually want to go to a MNC, where I see generally hiring is for backend roles where system design and DB is asked. Frontend specific hiring I mostly find in startup and mid sized companies, which I want to avoid. Another option is to switch to a different company like Microsoft, etc where they look for a general software engineer, for which I will need to study system design and DB. I'm fairly good at DSA, so not much of an issue here. What should I do?

Why we don't use node js to build large scale application, in my small career of Full Time Engineering till now I haven't seen a monolithic app completely running on node JS as whole. Tho I have seen usage of node js everywhere but it's used for doing small task such as getting price of a crypto from multiple exchanges and then aggregating it(if we talk about a FinTech crypto app). I'm curious to know why people prefer Python(FastAPI, Django) over node js,tho js has asynchronous capabilities, it's understandable that Java and Golang are faster but why Python monolith over JS?

I'm a b sc graduate. I'm currently working in a company for 2.52LPA. In- hand is literally 17.2k. I completed two years in Feb 2024. Now I have 2 YOE but no proper skill, with no proper working experience. I going nowhere staying here in the current company.
Should I resign now and upskill or Should I upskill,get another offer and then resign.

Hey folks a fresher here. I just got an offer from akamai. How is the company in terms of learning? I have heard a few folks call it a retirement company. Is that true? Is it a good choice to join akamai early in your career. When I try to switch in the future how will Akamai look on the resume. Will startups consider me?

I'm a 2023 grad, and gained 6 months of experience in RPA, specifically Power Automate and Apps. 
However, I'm facing a lack of growth in my current role, as the projects as less.

I've become comfortable with my current situation, receiving a consistent salary and doing wfh, but now I'm concerned about the future and the stagnation of my skill set.

I've decided to upskill myself with a more relevant tech stack. I'm confused between opting for
