Become Graphic/Product Designer

Hello all, like the title says, can anyone help me with how to become a graphic/product designer? I know both are different roles but just wanted to know the roadmap for either one of them.

I have experience in building FE apps as well as in Photoshop. So, want to keverage on them. Also any leads on how to freelance would be helpful.
