Been a vegetarian for a month, after being a life long non vegetarian. Ask me anything :)
I know it’s very early days. But feeling proud to even get to a month.
I love non vegetarian food, but felt that my body just takes more time to process it, and it feels lighter and better on vegetarian food.
No other considerations really. Could moderate it, but wanted to just go cold turkey.
A small spiritual reason, about eating things that haven’t been harmed to a great extent, but I won’t argue too much on that.
I know this is random, but if anybody is curious/wants to also do this, feel free to ask

Soya chunks, Paneer , Mushroom any other super foods do you like or want to eat?
Absolutely crave it. Chicken popcorn/fried chicken/chicken burger the most. Such amazing things.
Fav veg dish - has always been palak paneer, but in this season just eating stuff like dal rice sabzi
Protein - eating a lot of mushroom paneer tofu and managing it. I’m still eating eggs btw :p

Ok got a Great question to ask
I am a Hindu Brahmin so non veg was never allowed in my house, i drink milk/eat all dairy ofcourse everyday but not being a non-vegetarian is one thing but do you think that if you want to maintain optimum level of vitamins and minerals in the body then you have to take some supplements otherwise you will be severely deficient
So my parents are vegetarians
They’re 50+ and their vitals are exceptional
They’re very particular about diet. They make sure every important element is part of everyday. And don’t take supplements. Their blood reports look better than mine and anybody I know who’s my age.
Same here, been few months now, taking vitamin supplements now worth 4k 😔

You don’t need to
On any social app you will find posts you care about and posts you don’t.
When you see a post you don’t care about, just move on, if you write ‘why should we care’ it may take a lot of your time.
